ASI admissions
Students wanting to enter the ASI department can do so in the first year of engineering level (ASI3) or in the 2nd year (ASI4).
ASI3 admissions
The maximum number of students per year is 52. Two thirds of these students come from the STPI department of INSA-Rouen. The remaining third is composed of students who have the following backgrounds :
- Preparatory classes for the “Grandes Écoles”,
- L2 (two years of university) in mathematics,
- L2 (two years of university) in computer sciences,,
- DUT (two year diploma in technological sciences) in computer sciences,
- DUT (two year diploma in technological sciences) in electrical engineering and industrial computer sciences,
- DUT (two year diploma in technological sciences) in networking and telecommunications,
- DUT (two year diploma in technological sciences) in physical measurement.

ASI4 admissions
Students can also enter the ASI department in the 2nd year of engineering level (ASI4). The required education level is 4 years of higher education (first-year masters degree or equivalent) in computer sciences or Electronics, Electrical engineering and Automatic control engineering (EEA) and admission is by written application optionally followed by an interview.
